After earning a degree in music education, I taught band in the public schools. Soon after I turned to my true passion of musical instrument repair where I specialized on the flute, the instrument I had always loved. My decision to work exclusively on flutes led to my studying with Jonathon Landell and David Straubinger.

Over the past 22 years of working on the flutes of many of the top professionals from across the country, I have learned a wealth of knowledge about sound production, flute playing as well as the expert repair required to maximize an instrument’s potential. And as with any true partnership, I must say that I owe as much of this knowledge to my amazing customers as to the flute makers from whom I have always continued to learn.

I am a perfectionist with a well-trained ear, musical ability and immense patience. My goal with each instrument I repair and with each instrument I sell is to get it to its absolute top playing potential.
